About Me

I came to grief work the hard way.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, I lost both my fiancé and my dad to cancer within months of each other.

My grief took me to places so dark, I didn’t think I’d ever make my way back — until I discovered the therapeutic power of writing.

What began as late-night musings on social media soon became Now What? — a digital grief guide that supported thousands of people around the world. I later launched a podcast amplifying stories of adversity and resilience, and in 2024, published Bittersweet: A True Story of Love and Loss.

Since then, I’ve written for leading publications like Refinery29, i Paper, and Women’s Health, and have been featured in Cosmopolitan, ELLE, Marie Claire, The Telegraph, and Harper’s Bazaar.

At the end of 2024, I founded The Grief School — an ever-growing platform offering peer-to-peer support, mentorship, tools and courses designed to guide and empower bereaved women as they process their pain, find hope, and rebuild.

My Mission

In the early aftermath of my losses, I wanted to find others who had endured the same agony, and who, against the odds, had managed to survive.

I needed to believe in the idea that a meaningful life could be built alongside my heartache.

That’s why I created The Grief School: because when grief shatters our world, we need help reassembling the broken parts.

We need hope that better days are coming, even when the evidence doesn’t look good at all.

Now, my work is gently unfolding into broader territory — exploring the many ways loss shapes our shared humanity, and how we collectively process, transmute and rebuild.
